Virgin Lacquer Gel Pomade for Natural Hair

Finding a gel that works with natural hair can be difficult.  You want to avoid flaking , build-up, drying or a caky greasy products.  It's already hard enough to get coarse hair to lie flat but to ensure that there is not chemicals in your gel is even more difficult.  I had the opportunity to try Virgin Lacquer Gel Pomade on my loc'd hair and my daughters natural hair which she keeps straightened.  It works wonders on my edges and prevented fly aways for my daughter.

The texture of it reminded me of "Jam"  a popular hair product that is well suited for permed hair. However, it is not full of unnatural chemicals. It contains plant base ingredients such as lemon grass, beeswax, organic orange, sunflower oil, vitamin E, and many more.   It has a very light pleasant scent and it does a excellent job at holding hair in place, sculpting, and styling.

My daughter used it as she flat ironed her hair.  A little goes a long way with this product.  She put less than a dime size drop through her natural, chemical free, coarse hair in conjunction with using the flat iron.  Her hair had great sheen, it stayed in place and it did not have any build up.  I also used it to hold my locs and place and smooth down my edges.  If you would like to try Virgin Lacquer Gel Pomade check out http://www.amazon.com/dp/b00s3zm0f2
