There is nothing more elegant than hot coffee and a muffin for breakfast. However, people have changed the way they prepare their coffee, Some use the automatic coffee maker, the Keurig, or other dispensers that can make a individual cups. But, where is the fun in that? Being the coffee snob that I am I feel that making coffee should be an art. I prefer the manual method, So I am stimulated, visually, audibly and with my olfactory senses.
There are a few manual methods of making coffee such as, the percolator. The percolator allows the aromatic fragrance of the coffee can travel throughout the atmosphere. But, that wonderful smell can be deceptive. You have to be very cautious when using the percolator because it is very easy to burn your coffee beans and that leads to a bitter tasting coffee. Another manual method for brewing coffee is the vacuum pot, it is a interesting looking method and a treat to watch. However, the vacuum pot is very difficult to clean and is very fragile.
My favorite technique the French press. It's simple, interesting and attractive. The coffee tastes wonderful and you don't have to fuss with paper filters, worry about overheating your coffee and it is simple to clean. I've owned the "normal" French press. The "normal" French Press is a cylinder shaped container with a spiral plate, plunger and ball, screen metal filter and glass container. It's nice but my Francois et Mimi Stainless Steel French Coffee Press is better.
It's beautiful Stainless Steel construction with an elegant silver finish gives it the vintage look that is highly impressive. It is great for exquisite brunches, and formal events. It is easy to use and durable enough to with stand dishwasher cleanings. Overall this is a very functional Coffee maker that leaves quite the impression. Check out my youtube video of how simple it is to use.
If you are a serious barista in your home and would love to savor coffee with a classy attitude, be sure to purchase your Francois et Mimi Stainless Steel French Coffee Press .
