My three year old told me he needed a xylophone. It was serious business. Naturally, I had to get one to encourage his need to accelerate his musical knowledge. Once I bought him one he played non stop. The xylophone has such a pleasant sound and it is a instrument that I can tolerate.
My 18 year old took interest in the instrument. Even without any knowledge of the instrument you can produce beautiful sound. I love how it closes into a durable wood case for easy storage .
