Erykah Badu on Periscope

Periscope is hitting smart phones by storm. I had the opportunity to watch a periscope by Erykah Badu.  She Kindly allowed us to visit her garden.  Which was filled with organic vegetables.

They were also precious gems displayed in the garden. The garden was a Permaculture heaven.  There was no organization at all however it was a perfect blend.

  Her daughters where our tour guides as they pick the vegetables that were prepared for dinner. After all the vegetables were gather, we entered miss Badu's home.

We went straight ahead into the kitchen were missed but do begin to prepare the food that had been gathered from the garden.  Erykah was not trying to act like a superstar. Her kitchen looked like a kitchenette that had been cooked in.  There was no need for extra granite and marble it was more comfortable and relaxed. 

Erykah began preparing soup and a salad.  I was amazed by her humbleness and honored that she was willing to allow her fan to see her everyday life.
