Discoverer Watch

For Christmas this year, I figured my twelve year old son was finally mature enough to own a classic watch.  The watch I chose was the Detomaso Discoverer.  It is a very classy watch but has a bit of an edge to it.   It is a round faced watched encased in stainless steel.  The band is a sturdy silicon that can stand up to life's everyday challenges.   The masculine design face of the watch contains the a hour, minute and second hand encased in a beautiful crystal glass.

My son was most impressed by how it has a nocturnal glow that is easy to read.   This super-luminova technology is very clear and adjust well to dark conditions.  The beautiful chronograph with Japanese Miyota movement keeps accuracy down to a science.   The Tachymeter and Super Runner can measure top speed, this works in both light or dim conditions. 

The watch is amazingly beautiful, yet is it sturdy enough to wear everyday.  It requires very basic care, and it is water resistant.  It is sealed well enough to allow you to swim with it. However, diving should be avoided due to the possibility of damage due to pressure.  

Overall the Detomaso is a powerful performer with an aerodynamic, masculine design.  My son is quite pleased with the watch and the amount of compliments he has received from it.  If you are interested in purchasing a Detomaso it can be found at the following link
