Organic Matcha Powder

There is nothing more refreshing than a spot of tea!   I consume tea in loose form, from teabags, in powder form
, and either hot or cold.  I  love the sophisticated beverage on a hot or cold day.   Not only is it tasty but it has healing benefits as well. My latest tea venture was with 100% Organic Matcha Tea.  Matcha is a culinary grade green tea powder.  It has a great taste and many healing properties.

Matcha has been consumed in Japan for close to 1,000 years.  It usually was prevalently consumed by Royalty, Religious Dignitaries and Spiritual Leaders.  I am so glad this tea is now available to everybody.  It has many beneficial properties that we all need.  Matcha is known for burning calories, it's anti aging properties, and that it is a great energy booster.   It has up to 137 times the EGCG of Brewed Green Tea.  EGCG also contains catechin, catechins are known to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.  The also have been said to prevent  activities of free radicals that cause cellular damage that often leads to cancer.

Matcha also has a very smooth and delicate taste.  I brew mine in my french press and simply add a touch of honey per cup.  It has a very herbal taste with a slight bit of bitterness.  If you do not like bitter teas, you might want to add a very small amount of Matcha in comparison the the amount of water.   If you would like to purchase this wonderful powdery tea click the following link

  1. I have always wanted to try the Matcha Tea, and great suggestion to put it in the French Press which I normally use for my weekend coffee.
