After a long and stressful day, what better way to detox than a bath? Adovia Dead Sea Salt is a fine grain bath salt that dissolves quickly in the tub. It is a high concentration of mineral with essentials which are soothing and relaxing. A dead sea salt bath relieves many ailments such as psoriasis, eczema or arthritis. I made a salt scrub with three simple ingredients. dead sea salt, argan oil and peppermint oil. To make the scrub, add a cup of dead sea salt, and mix 3 drops of peppermint to 1/2 cup of argan oil. Although these are the ingredients I chose, they can be replaced with any carrier oil or essential oil. I chose argan oil for the benefits it gives my skin, the peppermint is refreshing and dead sea salt relaxes my muscles.
The scrub is excellent for exfoliating skin. The argan oil in the scrub, kept my skin moisturized and the dead sea salt can combat skin conditions. and the peppermint is refreshing as aromatherapy. Just be sure when you use a salt scrub, you do not apply it if you have a cut or scrape. Salt in the wound is not something fun to experience.
