Bike Re-vamp with Longest Lasting Super Bright Rim Lights

I am in the process of revamping a bike for my 11 year old son.  It was given to me because it has a flat tire and the previous owner no longer found it useful.  The bike is really aged and needs a lot of TLC but I figure I can help it regain it's vigor that it once had.  The handle bars are rusted, it needs new tires, and a decent paint job.  It also needs new reflectors and lights to make it more noticable at night.

Since, this bike will be given to my 11 year son old safety is my first concern.  I don't plan on having him out at all hours of the night.  However, when it is evening I do want on coming cars to clearly see him on his bike.  Since I was able to try long lasting super bright rim lights in exchange for my honest opinion,  I decided to use it for my sons bike.

These lights are installed on the intertube plug of the bike.  As the bike wheel spins the light is generated.  This light is meant to bring attention to the bike not to light up the road for the rider to see.  It is also very stylish and leaves an impression on the kids in the neighborhood.

So basically this is for safety but it has style as well.  It impresses my son and keeps him happy so that makes me happy.  If you would like to check out the super bright LED lights click here
