Baltic Amber For Tension

My son is 4 months old.  He doesn't have a single tooth in his mouth, yet I know they will be coming  soon.  Since, I am a mother of four children I know teething can be a fussy time for babies.    They are often hard to soothe for a long period of time due to the discomfort of teething.   However, as a mothers we do our best to find a way to calm them.  I've always used a teething ring that can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer.  However, This time around I have was offered the opportunity to try  the Baltic Amber Necklace.

Unlike a teething ring the baltic amber necklace is meant to be worn around the babies neck like any necklace.  They chew on the necklace when they feel discomfort.   Baltic Amber is beneficial because
it contains succinic acid. Succinic acid is a natural pain reliever, anti-inflammatory, and a central nervous system calmer.

Succinic acid had been know to assist with migraine headaches, arthritis and other ailments.   I totally understand how the Baltic Amber Necklace can relieve the pain of teething without any side effects.  But, personally I do not feel comfortable putting the necklace around my childs neck.  I fear that the necklace might be a chocking hazard.  The beads are tied around the string so that they can not come off of the necklace, but I still will not take the risk of using the necklace with my son.

But, since the Baltic Amber necklace does have pain relieving benefits I still find it useful.  I do a lot of typing, and my wrist gets a little stressed.  I use the necklace as a bracelet to bring comfort to my wrist.  It releases tension and has a stylish look.  Aside from the look the construction is great.  I like the clasp, instead of any metal or tie it is outlined with the amber for a uniformed look.   It can also be wrapped around the ankle for those who may have arthritis tension in their ankle.  If you would like to try out the Baltic Amber Necklace for yourself click here
