Peppermint and Lemon Essential Oil

Aromatherapy is the use of plant oils and and including essential compounds to alter your mood.  It is very therapeutic and can lighten a heavy day.  It can be traced back more the 3,000 years ago and rooted to Egypt.  The inhaling of aroma from essential oils is believed to stimulate the brains function, it is also believed that the oil can be absorbed through the skin and travel through the bloodstream.  This process leads to healing within the whole body.  I had the opportunity to try the InstaNatural's Peppermint Essential Oil, and Lemon Essential Oil.  These oils, cool, energize and refresh the body and mind.

InstaNatural's Peppermint Essential Oil

Is a steam-distilled oil extracted from the dried & Fresh Leaves from the Mentha Piperita Herb.  Peppermints therapeutic properties include anti-inflammation, relieving pain, assists with muscle spasms and cramps; relaxes nerves kills viral infections, decrease gas and indigestion and clears lung congestion.  InstaNaturals Peppermint Essential Oil can be used in a diffuser or ceramic oil warmer to add a pleasantly sweet, minty aroma.   Since, the oil is provided in its most natural form if you choose to use it topically be sure to use a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil or jojoba oil.

InstaNatural's  Lemon Essential Oil

Is extracted from the rinds of lemons, and cold-pressed.  It has a strong bright smell and beautiful citrus fragrance.  It can be used as and astringent and is great for cleansing and toning the skin.   It's benefit in aromatherapy  include improving concentration, decreasing psychological distractions and fatigue, reducing stress, anxiety, nervousness and tension.  It's even been known to help alleviate the symptoms of insomnia by allowing the body to gain a more restful slumber.

InstaNatural's also offers Lavender Essential Oil as well.  It is steam-distilled and extracted from the glands of the Lavandula Officinalis plant.  I have not had the opportunity to try this oil yet, but I know that with aromatherapy it has the ability to ease the mind.   All three of these essential oils can be found at
