The Freeloader

A stroller can't be navigated everywhere you want to go.   Places that have sand, mud, gravel or obstacles can make a stroller uncomfortable for both mom and babe. You definitely can't not force a kid under 4 year old to trek a long hiking trip. You have to find other options when a stroller won't work. I have a 2 year old and I am planning on taking him to Vala in Nebraska.

Vala is a pumpkin patch where a lot of  fall festivities are held.  The ground of Vala are not going to be paved.  It is  a long dirt road, so I have to leave my stroller at home.  Instead I will opt for my freeloader.  A freeloader is a comfortable backpack that I can place my 2 year old in.  Both myself and my son Theo find the Freeloader to be very comfortable.

The freeloader adjust to fit a toddler as well as a small child.   There are straps to ensure the security of your little one around the arms and waist. The weight of your child is evenly distributed so you do grow tired quickly and  your child stays upright. I also realized that my son trusts the freeloader.  He is not afraid to travel a matter of fact he just looks forward to the trip.

The freeloader is designed to carry a child between 25 and 80 pounds.  The minimum suggested age for use of the freeloader is 2 1/2.  Your child is expected to stand between 33 and 50 inches in order to fit the freeloader comfortably.  The freeloader is also light weight weighing only 5.8 lb.  It easily folds so you can store it properly and neatly.
