I've seen tons of youtubers do demonstrations about how charcoal is great for your teeth. But, these people usually have perfectly white teeth anyway so I really didn't pay them any mind. Well, I got the opportunity to try the charcoal powder at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
So I decided to try it for my teeth. When I actually put it in my mouth I realized it did not have a taste at all. I assumed that it would taste burnt, but it did not. It is extremely light and can get spread around easily so I suggest putting it in small containers if you plan to use it for your teeth daily. Wet your toothbrush then add the charcoal. Brush your teeth with it. It will appear that you have black teeth while you are brushing and that is okay. After your done spit in the toilet so you don't have a big mess in you sink. I use coconut oil to rinse my mouth afterward. ( The coconut oil pulling method) .
This does wonders for the teeth, but if you want to freshen you breath the natural way chew a clove and this works for antiseptic purposes. The coconut powder will whiten your teeth and it also removes plaque really well. It is better at removing plaque than baking soda in my opinion.
