LED Tail Light

In exchange for my honest opinion, I was given LED tail light from by Stupidbright.  The light is a universal light that can be used for a stroller, bike, dog leash, hat, helmet, or backpack.  It has a very simple band that fits around most anything.  The band is made of a rubber material that stretches to clamp close.

I decided to use the light for my sons scooter.  It is a very simple razor scooter that has lights on the wheels.   I wanted to make more of an effort to ensure that my son can be seen from distances so I put the light near his handle bars.  The light is pretty bright and easy to detect.  It can be seen from a good distant.  The light has a button that illumanates the light.  It has about three settings, one setting gives a flickering light, the second setting blinks a little slower than the first and the last light setting is continuous illumination.

The power does not automatically power on when the light is dim.  You have to press the actual button.  The light is battery operated, my only worry is ensuring my son turns the light off when not in use and cuts the light on when necessary.  This light would be optimal if it had a light sensor.

The LED light can be used  in many ways, it can be added to a bike, scooter, or stroller and it is easy to install.  It doesn't require any tools to assemble.  When you open the package simply unscrew the top to remove the paper between the battery, and rescrew the light.  It is simple and ready to go.

But overall,  I am satisfied with the light because I didn't know there was an option for adding a light to a scooter and the LED Tail light is ideal.  It also sets my sons scooter apart from the multitude of scooters in our neighborhood.   If you are interested in purchasing the LED tail light click here
